Hello, my name is Cristian Jager. I grew up in Forest Hills, Queens (the original home of the US Open), where I developed my love for the sport of tennis. I attended both New York University and Queens College at the undergraduate level, with a double major in biology and physical anthropology. That is where I developed my curiosity for human evolution. I studied the human dentition, which is often the only remains found from the ancient hominids, which further led me to develop an interest in dentistry. I attended New York University College of Dentistry from 1992-1995 followed by a one year general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, which I completed in 1996. My natural curiosity and type A personality further catapulted me into the goal for restorative perfection which led me to the specialty of prosthodontics. From 1996-1999 I was enrolled in the post graduate Prosthodontics Program at NYU. After 4 years of dental school at NYU, one year of general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and 3 years of full time comprehensive prosthodontics program at NYU, I received a Certificate in Prosthodontics. I felt proficient to tackle the most challenging and difficult cases in the profession of dentistry.
Since 2001 I have been practicing in my specialty of prosthodontics on Central Park South. Eighteen years later, in 2019, when it came time to update our office with the latest technology we chose to move to a more convenient location. We have been at 59 East 54th Street since 2019.
At our new state of the art digital facility we treat complex restorative cases, full mouth reconstructions, restoring vertical dimension, and smile make overs. If you just need a good dentist, an occasional filling and a hygiene appointment, we do that too.
Looking forward to meeting you and treating your dental needs.
